Suspect In Fatal Hit-And-Run That Killed Homeland Mom Turns Himself In
HOMELAND (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said the suspect in a fatal hit-and-run accident that killed a mother of two, has turned himself in.
Officials said the suspect initially escaped to Mexico but returned to the Southland after his family and attorney urged him to come back and face the charges.

The CHP identified the suspect as 43-year-old Philipe Gonzalez.
The suspect allegedly crashed into two women -- killing Jennifer Blakey and critically injuring a friend as they walked together on Sultana Street in Homeland last month.
