Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (April 30)

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — It's still pretty warm across the Southland. There was some patchy marine layer start to develop Thursday morning, but that's about it.

In fact, Friday should be well above average again.

By the weekend, expect to see that marine layer work back in more extensively. By Sunday, it may make it to the valleys.

Next week will start off on a relatively cooler note with temperatures topping out in the low 70s.

As a trough starts to dig into the area over the weekend, there is the very slight chance that on Monday we could see a shower in the mountains, but don't count on it.
