Youth Counselor Suspected Of Sexually Assaulting Male Teen He Met Online

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY (CBSLA.com) — A 28-year-old man was in custody Monday on suspicion of sexually assaulting a male teenager that he met through an online dating website.

Shortly after midnight on Sunday, deputies conducted a vehicle check in the 22700 block of De Berry Street in Grand Terrace.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Ameer Bradley, of Fontana, was found engaging in sex acts with a 15-year-old male inside the vehicle.

During a consent search of Bradley's phone, deputies located nude photos of the juvenile, in addition to photos of other possible juvenile victims.

He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of unlawful sex crimes with a minor.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Bradley met the juvenile on an online social dating website called "Jake-d."

According to deputies, Bradley is a Youth Counselor at Star Shine Treatment Center in San Bernardino, and Trinity Youth Outreach in Yucaipa.

Bradley is being held on $100,000 at the Central Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

The investigation is ongoing as additional possible victims are being sought by deputies.
