Caught On Camera: Robbery Suspects Steal iPhones From LA Business

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Friday to identify three men who stole cellular phones from a business.

Around 8:30 p.m. Monday, three men entered a store, located in the 8400 block of Beverly Boulevard, and stole an iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The LAPD posted surveillance video online, which revealed the men walked up to the display, removed the phones and fled from the store.

Police added the last suspect seen leaving the store pushed the security guard out of the door way.

Detectives described the three suspects, who are each between the ages of 25 to 30-years-old, in the following ways:

  • An African American man who has long braided hair, stands 6-foot-1 tall, weighs 150 pounds and has tattoos on both of his arms and his neck. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, grey sweatpants, white Nike shoes and a Dodger baseball cap.
  • An African American man who stands 6-feet-tall and weighs 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black beanie, grey shirt with "CROOKS" written on the front of it, black pants and black high top shoes.
  • An African American man who stands 6-feet-tall and weighs around 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a New York Yankee baseball cap, a white sweatshirt that has a California flag logo on the front of it, grey pants and white shoes.

 

Their vehicle was described as a black, four door Honda Civic. Detectives believe the vehicle is a newer model, 2013 to 2015, that has paper license plates on it.
