'Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' Star Kim Richards Arrested
BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Reality TV star Kim Richards was arrested Thursday in Beverly Hills.
Police responded to the Beverly Hills Hotel around 1:30 a.m. on a report of a possible fight, officials said.
Hotel security had reported that the "Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills" cast member was intoxicated and causing a disturbance at a hotel restaurant.
Richards refused to leave the property after being asked multiple times, according to police.
Hotel security made a private persons arrest before Beverly Hills police took her into custody at 2:04 a.m.
"Ms. Richards was displaying symptoms of alcohol intoxication including slurred speech and belligerent insolent behavior cursing at the officers and passively resisted arrest," Lt. Lincoln Hoshino said.
After being transported to the station for booking, the former child actress kicked an officer in the leg, according to Hoshino.
Richards, who was released at 10:36 a.m., was charged with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer. She was scheduled to appear at LAX Superior Court on May 10.
