Frederick's Of Hollywood To Sell Online Only
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Frederick's of Hollywood is going bust.
The Hollywood institution is shutting down the remainder of its brick-and-mortar stores, but says it will continue to sell the same steamy and racy lingerie online.
The Los Angeles-based company has had a hard time competing with Victoria's Secret. Frederick's filed for bankruptcy in 2000, then the company went private in 2013.
As recently as February, the lingerie retailer was poised to close a third of its 93 locations in the United States, including the flagship store on Hollywood Boulevard.
