'KNX On Your Corner' To Spotlight Santa Clarita Valley

VALENCIA (KNX 1070) — "KNX On Your Corner," KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO's award-winning series showcasing local communities, heads to northern Los Angeles County for an in-depth look at the Santa Clarita Valley on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 9am – 7pm, including a live broadcast from Valencia beginning at 1pm.

KNX's team coverage will focus on the history, current events, popular attractions and hidden gems of the Santa Clarita Valley communities of Canyon Country, Newhall, Saugus, Valencia, Santa Clarita, Castaic and Stevenson Ranch. Special guests with local insight will be featured throughout the day as KNX gives listeners an overview of the area's uniqueness.

The public is invited to a live broadcast at the Salt Creek Grille throughout the afternoon, featuring free snacks and refreshments. Frank Mottek will host the KNX Business Hour at 1:00pm and then Jim Thornton and Diane Thompson will anchor the afternoon news from 2:00pm until 7:00pm.

The restaurant is located in Westfield Valencia Town Center at 24415 Town Center Drive.
