3 Juveniles Arrested In Grand Terrace In Vandalism, Assault With Skateboard

GRAND TERRACE (CBSLA.com)  —  Police in Grand Terrace arrested three juveniles on Wednesday after a report of vandalism and an assault.

Shortly after 3 p.m., deputies from the Grand Terrace and Loma Linda police departments were dispatched to the 21900 block of Pico Street in Grand Terrace.

When the deputies arrived, they spoke to witnesses who said they saw several juveniles breaking the wood scorekeepers area at one of the baseball fields. The victim reportedly confronted the juveniles and attempted to detain them, when an altercation ensued. Officials said one juvenile hit the victim over the head with a skateboard. The victim sustained injuries as a result of the attack.

The juveniles fled but were later found by deputies. All three juveniles were arrested and released to their parents.
