Public's Help Sought To Identify Burglary Suspect In LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Friday to identify a suspect who burglarized a home in the Wilshire area.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the suspect broke into a residence located in the 1300 block of Tremaine Avenue on Feb 21, and stole jewelry and a laptop computer.

On Feb. 23, police were called to a pawn shop after the victim received a ping from her laptop computer at the store.

When officers arrived, the suspect had already left the shop.

Surveillance video captured the suspect wearing a grey shirt and glasses inside the pawn shop. He had a black backpack with him.

Detectives described the suspect as a black man that is between the ages of 18 and 23-years-old. He has black hair, stands no taller than 5-foot-11 and has a thin build.
