Police Seek Public's Help In Locating Missing L.A. Woman, 60

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Wednesday asked for the public's help in locating a missing 60-year-old woman from Los Angeles.

Zakiyyah Elamin was last seen about 7 a.m. on March 23 in the 1000 block of West 39th Street, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a written statement.

Elamin, a black woman, is 4-foot-11 and weighs about 150 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information as to Elamin's whereabouts was asked to call the LAPD Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800 or 1-877-LAPD-24-7 during non-business hours.
