Child Injured In Whittier Hit-And-Run
SOUTH WHITTIER (CBSLA.com) — A child was injured Wednesday after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in south Whittier.
The incident took place on Valley View Boulevard just south of Leffingwell Road, officials said.
The child was transported to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
California Highway Patrol officers were searching for the driver, who fled the scene.
