Mar Vista Girl With Autism Still Missing A Week Later

MAR VISTA (CBSLA.com) — Police are still searching for a teenage girl who has been missing for a week.

Kimberly Greenberg, 15, has not been seen since last Tuesday, when she went missing at about 8 p.m. from her home in the 11200 block of Westminster Avenue in Mar Vista.

Family members are concerned because she takes medication for autism and has not made contact with them since she disappeared.

Los Angeles police Lt. Daniel Gonzales said officers continue to search the area Tuesday, but they are hoping Kimberly will contact her family of her own accord.

"We're hoping someone will call in with some information, or she will check in with her mom," Gonzales said.

Kimberly is described as a Hispanic girl with long brown hair, brown eyes and a light complexion. She is 4 feet 10 inches and weighs about 110 pounds and was last seen wearing a red sweater, jeans and Ugg shoes.

Anyone with information about Kimberly's whereabouts can call the Los Angeles Police Department's Pacific Division Watch Commander at (310) 482-6371.
