Driver Rescued After Car Plummets Over Side Of Canyon Country Cliff

CANYON COUNTRY (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters have rescued a driver trapped in a vehicle that plummeted Monday from a windy road in Canyon Country.

Los Angeles County firefighters were dispatched to the scene at Vasquez Canyon Road shortly after 4 p.m.

The victim is described as an elderly female.

Emergency personnel took the driver to a hospital.

She was reportedly in good condition Monday evening.
