OC Pursuit Suspect With 'We Support Our Local Police Dept.' Written On Car Surrenders
ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — A stolen vehicle suspect has surrendered after a brief pursuit in Anaheim near the Disneyland theme park, authorities said Friday.
The driver of the dark-colored Toyota sedan stopped on State College Road just south of Lincoln at around 1:05 p.m., according to Buena Park police.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of grand theft auto and felony evading, according to Buena Park Police Lt. Rich Forsyth. Three other passengers were also taken into custody, Forsyth said.
There was also writing on the rear window that read, "We support our local police dept."
A DMV official told CBS2/KCAL9 there is currently a processing restraint on the vehicle, but the reason for the restraint was unknown.
