Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (March 23)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — While more hot weather is headed our way by Wednesday, temperatures today will hover in the low to mid-70s.

As I'm writing this forecast, I'm spotting low cloud cover breaking up. Look for hazy sunshine by this afternoon.

We have some gusty north and northwest winds kicking in this afternoon. Wind advisories will kick in later and run through tomorrow.

There is a short wave pushing through tomorrow, so look for a few clouds. Temperatures will be similar to today's highs.

By Wednesday, a ridge of high pressure noses in to the west again, and we will experience those Santa Ana winds. This big warm-up could bring record-breakers to the area once again for Thursday and Friday.

There will be some cooling on Saturday, but still well above average. By the end of the weekend, a low pushes in that could cool us down and even give us a shot at a shower.
