Only On 2: Violent Home Invasion Robbery Captured On Security Video In Woodland Hills

WOODLAND HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A violent home-invasion robbery in Woodland Hills was captured on security video.

It's a story that is Only On 2.

A neighbor told CBS2 that there was "major police activity" up and down the block between Alhama Drive and Canoga Avenue in Woodland Hills, including a dozen police cars and a police helicopter overhead.

CBS2's Peter Daut said three armed men broke into the Woodland Hills home and attacked and robbed two men inside.

The entire ordeal was quick. Four minutes of terror captured on various security cameras.

Police said three men with guns broke into a Woodland Hills home Friday afternoon, around 1:45 p.m., attacking and robbing the two men inside.

Daut says that as the victims are beaten, you can hear the men screaming. One of them is duct-taped.

Three gunman are shown walking up to the home in the 5100 block of Alhama Drive.

They break into the home and cover their faces before ambushing the victims in a nearby room.

Mark DiPadova is the landlord and shared the security video with police.

"It was shocking," he says.

DiPadova immediately recognized one of the suspects as another tenant, meaning the attack was not random.

The suspects steal cash and leave.

DiPadova says concerned neighbors immediately called police, who arrested the men moments later.

The victims suffered several cuts and bruises and declined to speak with Daut.

The suspects, meanwhile,  are behind bars facing multiple charges.

Their names have not been released.
