Man Who Sent Nude Photos Of Pasadena Teacher Gets 6 Months In Jail

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A man who sent nude photos of his ex-boyfriend – a high school teacher in Pasadena – to the victim's colleagues as well as some his students was sentenced Monday to six months in jail and five years probation.

Pasadena Superior Court Judge Elaine Lu also ordered David Galvan, 38, to complete 200 hours of community service and attend anger management classes.

Galvan pleaded no contest on Feb. 13 to one felony count of false impersonation and one misdemeanor count of distribution of obscene matter.

Galvan sent naked pictures of his ex-boyfriend via the teacher's Muir High School work email to teachers, students and others in the victim's contact list last July.

An investigation revealed that the emails were not sent by the teacher, who was out of the country at the time. Police said Galvan was angry the couple had broken up.
