Standoff Ends At Medical Marijuana Clinic In LA; 2 Burglary Suspects Arrested
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Two suspects were arrested Saturday for allegedly burglarizing a medical marijuana clinic in a mid-city neighborhood.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were sent to the clinic around 5:07 a.m., located in the area of Pico Boulevard and Spaulding Avenue, to investigate an ongoing burglary.
Police explained one suspect was caught in the act, however, a second barricaded themself inside the clinic.
LAPD helicopters assisted overhead in the search for possible suspects.
The standoff peacefully ended shortly after 8:00 a.m., when the second suspect exited the building.
No injuries were reported.
