Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (March 5)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Get ready to break out the board shorts — things are warming up for the next few days.

A ridge of high pressure will drift into the west and hang here through at least Tuesday.

Temperatures will be begin warming Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday — it will be in the 80s with sunny skies.

The upper level high along with a surface high in the great basin will keep things warm even into the beginning of next week.

At that time, the high pressure breaks down a bit, but even with the cooler weather and the return of the on-shore flow, skies will be hazy and temperatures will hover near average levels (the low 70s).
