Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (March 4)

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Summer weather will be returning to Southern California for the latter half of the week.

While Wednesday's temperatures should remain around average for this time of year, look for modest warming Thursday and then more significant warming for Friday and the weekend.

A ridge of high pressure will set up along the west coast. This will block any chances of wet weather for a few days.  But more importantly it will combine with a surface off-shore flow to bring temperatures into the 80s for Saturday and Sunday.

Expect to see some slight cooling on Monday.

There will be more significant cooling for the middle of next week.

There is even a hint at some wet weather, but we will have to see how long this high pressure hangs before that is a reality.
