2 LAPD Officers, Suspect Injured In Traffic Collision
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Three people were injured Saturday in a traffic collision in South Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, around 12:10 a.m. a white vehicle driving southbound made a left turn in front of an LAPD cruiser traveling northbound — carrying two officers and a suspect in the back of their unit — which caused the cruiser to hit a building.
The two officers and suspect were transported for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the crash.
Additional officers arrived on scene to estimate damage done to the building.
Police said this was not a hit-and-run incident.
The driver of the vehicle was found to not be under the influence, officers added.
