'American Horror Story's' Ben Woolf Critically Injured After Being Clipped By Vehicle In Hollywood

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Actor Ben Woolf was hit by a vehicle and critically injured as he crossed a street in the Hollywood area, authorities said Friday.

The accident happened at Hollywood Boulevard and Gramercy Place about 9 p.m. Thursday, Los Angeles police spokesman Officer Drake Madison said.

Woolf was hit in the head by the mirror of the vehicle, Madison said. The motorist stopped and was not cited or arrested.

Woolf, who is 4 feet 4 inches tall, stars in "American Horror Story: Freak Show." Woolf was reportedly jaywalking at the time of the accident, according to TMZ.com.
