Suge Knight Reportedly Transported To Hospital For 2nd Time Ahead Of Court Hearing

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A court hearing for Marion "Suge" Knight was continued Thursday, but not before the former rap mogul was reportedly transported to a nearby hospital after complaining of abdominal pain.

Knight had been scheduled to be arraigned on a felony charge of criminal threats linked to an alleged robbery of a camera from a photographer in Beverly Hills.

Los Angeles County Fire officials confirmed a crew was dispatched to the courthouse on La Cienega Boulevard to transport a "high security risk patient".

Multiple reports confirmed the patient was later identified as Knight.

Knight had been transported for medical treatment following a hearing on Feb. 3 after complaining of chest pains.

The charge Knight faced Thursday was unrelated to murder and attempted murder charges Knight is facing for allegedly running over two men in Compton last month.

Knight, 49, is accused of threatening a female photographer on Sept. 5, the same date of the alleged robbery. Both Knight and comedian Micah "Katt" Williams were charged in the robbery case last year.

The former head of Death Row Records remains jailed without bail while awaiting a March 20 bail hearing on the murder case. He faces one count each of murder and attempted murder and two counts of hit-and-run for allegedly running down two
men in Compton on Jan. 29, killing one and injuring the other following an argument.

The hearing was continued to April 8.
