Patrick Schwarzenegger's Car Rammed By Motorist In Valley Village

VALLEY VILLAGE (CBSLA.com) — Police opened a felony investigation into a road rage incident involving Patrick Schwarzenegger, the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver.

Police say a driver intentionally hit Schwarzenegger's car after an on-the-road exchange on Feb. 10, near Riverside Drive at Whitsett Avenue in the Valley Village area, Los Angeles police Officer Drake Madison said.

Patrick Schwarzenegger was driving west on Riverside at Whitsett about 11 a.m. when a driver in a gray or silver Nissan rolled down the passenger window and threw what appeared to be water on his car then took off, Madison said.

Schwarzenegger began chasing the car and at one point gave up, making a U-turn to drive away from the area, Madison said. He says that's when the other driver turned and rammed the left side of his car before taking off.

He was not hurt and reportedly left the scene to meet his girlfriend, singer-actress Miley Cyrus, for lunch at a nearby restaurant, where he called police.

The 21-year-old USC student and model is the oldest son of former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver. The Schwarzenegger/Shriver families have not commented on the case.
