CHP Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash On SB 101 Freeway
BOYLE HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — California Highway Patrol officers are investigating a fatal motorcyle crash on the 101 Freeway in Boyle Heights.
Officers responded to the scene on the southbound 101, near the 5 Freeway, where a motorcyclist apparently struck a concrete barrier around 9:33 a.m. Sunday.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
No other vehicles were damaged.
Traffic on the southbound 101 was jammed from downtown to Hollywood. The 110 Freeway also had congestion in both directions near the old Four Level Interchange.
The name of the crash victim has not been released.
