Caught On Video: Trio Of Burglars Break Into Cars, Steal Mail At Santa Ana Apartment Complex
SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — The public's help was sought Friday to identify three burglary suspects who broke into cars and stole mail at a Santa Ana apartment complex.
Three residential burglaries have been reported at the Pinnacle at MacArthur apartment complex, 31 MacArthur Crescent, in Santa Ana since Jan. 31, Santa Ana police said.
Surveillance video captured two men and a woman entering the complex, burglarizing residents' vehicles in the parking garage and stealing mail by breaking the lock of the mail distribution slots.
The first suspect was described as a Hispanic or black man between 30 and 35 years old, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-2, with a heavy build, shaved head, a mustache and wearing a long silver or gold necklace. The second suspect appeared to be a Hispanic man between 25 and 30 years old, between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11, with a thin build and black hair with long sideburns. The third suspect was described a white woman between 25 and 30 years old, between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-5, with a thin build.
The suspects were seen leaving the complex in the two vehicles – a gray Volvo station wagon and a white Ford Mustang.
