Family Steps Up Search For LA Man Who Went Missing In 2011

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  — The family of a man missing for more than four years is asking for the public's help.

Tarik Diontre Owens was last seen around 7 p.m. Jan. 29, 2011, in the 1800 block of Buckingham Road in Los Angeles.

At the time of his disappearance, the man's family said, he was suffering from a mental illness.

Owens has two daughters, ages 13 and 11.

The missing man is black and has black hair and brown eyes. Owens stands 5-foot-11 and weighs about 150 pounds.
