Body Reportedly Found Slumped Behind Wheel At Arco Gas Station In Irwindale

IRWINDALE (CBSLA.com)  —  Police in Irwindale are investigating a report of a body found at an Arco gas station.

Authorities said they received a 911 call just before 3 p.m. about a person who was slumped over the wheel inside a vehicle at the gas station located in the 110 block of East Longden Avenue.

Police said the body was found in a vehicle parked beside a pump.

When officials arrived on the scene, the person found inside the vehicle was unresponsive and not breathing. She was declared dead at the scene.

Irwindale Police are working with the LA County Sheriff's Department. An investigation is trying to determine if foul play was involved.

No suspect information was given.

The woman's name was being withheld until her next of kin could be notified.
