Man, 20, Arrested In Fatal Shooting Of 14-Year-Old Girl At Ontario Home
ONTARIO (CBSLA.com) — A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a teen in Ontario, police said Thursday.
Ontario police responded to a report of a shooting Wednesday around 8:25 p.m. at a house in the 700 block of East I Street.
When they arrived, they located a 14-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
An unidentified suspect was later arrested, and the handgun believed to have been used in the crime was also recovered.
A preliminary investigation revealed there were several people at the home at the time of the shooting and the suspect and victim knew each other.
The investigation was ongoing.
