14-Year-Old Girl Reported Missing In LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police sought the public's help Thursday in locating a 14-year-old girl who was last seen in Westchester.

Lauren Jackson left her family's home, located in the 6700 block of 88th Street, around 5:30 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Jackson's family explained they are concerned for her welfare due to her young age.

Detectives described her as a black female with brown hair and brown eyes. She stands 5-foot-10 tall and weighs about 120 pounds.

Jackson was last seen wearing a black shirt, floral pants, a pink puffy jacket and red Concourse shoes, detectives said.
