Boy Transported To Hospital After Being Shot In Palmdale

PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) —  Sheriff's deputies say a young boy has been shot in Palmdale.

The shooting occurred at the 38000 block of 65th Street East near Avenue R.

Officials did not say how old the child is.

No one has been taken into custody.

Police were called to the location around 9:50 p.m.

Officials say the child was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.

No other details were available.
