19-Year-Old Man Reported Missing In LA Being Treated For Hypothermia

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —A 19-year-old man who was reported missing was located early Sunday morning by search and rescue crews.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Anthony Armando Carasi is being treated for hypothermia, and will be reunited with his family.

Carasi was reported missing on Sunday, after last being seen around 2:00 p.m. Saturday hiking with a friend at Chatsworth Park North.

Police said his hiking partner was found late last night.

Carasi's family explained they are extremely concerned for his welfare as he was separated from his friend, and has not been heard from since.

Detectives described Carasi as a Hispanic man that stands 5-foot-7 tall, weighs 140 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and grey shorts.
