Add More Veggies To Your Diet With Adam Taki's Tasty Recipes

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — President of Amazing Tastes Foods and Author of "Spice It Up," Chef Adam Taki, visited the KCAL9 studios Friday to show viewers the new tasty way to enjoy more veggies in our diet.

Zesty Veggie Stir Fry
carrots, 2, cut into thin strips 1/8 inch by 1/8 inch by 2 inches (Julienne*)
red bell pepper, 1 cup, sliced into thin strips.
yellow squash, 1 cup, chopped into ¼ inch slices
whole snow peas, 1 cup
garlic powder, 2 teaspoons (or use fresh grated garlic)
hot sauce, 1 tablespoon
soy sauce, 1 tablespoon
Amazing Taste® Veggie seasoning, 1 tablespoon
olive oil, 2 tablespoons
green onion, ½ cup chopped

Place all vegetables in a large bowl (except the green onion) and mix. Add garlic powder, hot sauce, soy sauce and Amazing Taste® Veggie seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a wok pan or large skillet on MEDIUM-HIGH until very hot, but not smoking. Toss in the vegetable mixture and cook for about minutes, tossing continuously.
Add the green onion and cook for a minute more before serving. You don't want the vegetables to wilt. Aim for crunchy.

Sautéed Mushrooms
10 minutes start to finish
SERVES 4
olive oil, 2 tablespoons
mushrooms, 1 pound, sliced (I like baby bella but any white mushrooms will work)
Amazing Taste® Veggie seasoning, 2 teaspoons
garlic powder, 2 teaspoons
white wine, ½ cup
green onions, ¼ cup, chopped (you can also use chopped chives or shallots)

Heat the olive oil in a pan on MEDIUM heat. Add all ingredients (except green onions) and sauté over for about 5 minutes.
Add the green onions and continue to sauté for another 30 seconds. It's that fast to create a terrific compliment to your main course.
