Simi Valley Police Ask For Help In Locating Missing Man, 80

SIMI VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities in Simi Valley asked for the public's help Monday in locating a missing 80-year-old man.

Eugene Wilder was last seen on the morning of Jan. 9 at his home in the 4500 block of Cochran Street.

According to Simi Valley police, Wilder did speak with someone over the phone the following day but relatives haven't spoken to him since.

Wilder is 6-foot-2, weighs 175 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes. He may be wearing jeans and a loose-fitting hooded sweat shirt.

Police said he does not have a car and may be traveling on foot or by public transportation.
