75-Year-Old Man Diagnosed With Alzheimer's Reported Missing In LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Saturday in locating a 75-year-old man reported missing by his family.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Henry Yun was last seen around 4:00 a.m. in the 1700 block of West 8th Street.

He suffers from dementia and Alzheimer's disease, and has not been seen or heard from since this morning.

Yun's family explained they are extremely concerned for his welfare.

Detectives described him as a Korean man with black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5-foot-4 tall and weighs 138 pounds.

Yun was last seen wearing a dark blue windbreaker, long sleeve dark blue shirt, black training pants and black dressing shoes.

Officers explained he took his walking cane with him, however, personal items such as his glasses and wallet were left behind.
