Dodgers' Mattingly To Bring Entire Coaching Staff Back For 2015

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - After many roster moves thus far for the Dodgers, Don Mattingly, on the contrary, will keep his entire coaching staff for 2015.

Mattingly will enter his fifth season as the Dodgers' skipper after leading the club to consecutive division titles in the past two seasons.

Mattingly, who took a lot of heat for keeping Clayton Kershaw in too long during the NLCS, will serve his second year of his three-year extension he signed in January 2014.

Hitting coaches Mark McGwire and John Valentin, who are entering their third seasons with the club, led the Dodgers in 2014 to one of the league's best on-base and slugging percentages.

Pitching Coach Ricky Honeycutt will return to the club for his 10th season as a coach. Since he took over as the pitching coach, the Dodgers have led the majors with a 3.67 team ERA, a .247 opponents' batting average and 11,209 strikeouts.
