Police Arrest 2 Pursuit Suspects After Chase At Speeds Near 115 MPH

CITY OF INDUSTRY (CBSLA.com) — California Highway Patrol units were in pursuit of a vehicle Thursday evening, reported to be traveling of speeds of up to 105 miles per hour.

The pursuit call came in as the vehicle was speeding south in a black vehicle, down the 57 freeway through Diamondbar, at 8:30 p.m.

Minutes later, the suspect moved to the 60 freeway, heading west, and maintaining speeds near 100 mph.

The pursuit reportedly began over an issue with the suspect's vehicle's registration.

Shortly before 8:40 p.m., it was reported that authorities lost their visual on the suspect, but a call came in moments later, saying that the vehicle had been spotted near a Chevrolet dealership off Azusa and Gale avenues.

Two suspects were reported to have been at the scene, and were taken into custody. There may still be one suspect who may have fled, according to CHP.

The two suspects taken into custody are reported to be one male and one female.
