Officials ID Man Who Died After Falling Down Stairs In El Segundo Home
EL SEGUNDO (CBSLA.com) — The Coroner's Office Saturday publicly identified a 71-year-old man who was killed when he accidentally tripped and fell down some
stairs inside his El Segundo home, then apparently walked outside where he died.
The man was identified as Wayne Peters, Coroner's Lt. Dave Smith said.
Peters was found dead on the street about 3:15 p.m. Friday in the 750 block of Sheldon Street.
"It was a tragic accident. The homeowner tripped and fell at some point in his residence," El Segundo police Sgt. Mike Gill said.
