Fallen Tree Branch Severs Gas Line, Triggering Leak Near Calabasas

CALABASAS (CBSLA.com) — Crews have plugged a leak in a high-pressure gas line near Calabasas.

Southern California Gas Co. were contacted around 8:30 p.m. Sunday after a tree branch fell on a gas meter at the Mountain Recreation and Conservation Authority in the 26800 block of Mulholland Highway, company spokesperson Denise King said.

Gas company workers were slated to repair the gas line at daybreak Monday.
