Recent Showers Provide Some Relief To Drought-Stricken California

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The recent showers have provided some relief to drought-stricken California, a report released Thursday said.

The United States Drought Monitor said the strong storm systems provided enough runoff to raise reservoir levels.

Despite this, most of the state remains in extreme drought, which is the second highest category.
