Wilson Scores 30 As Army Tops Southern Cal In OT, 85-77

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Kyle Wilson scored 30 points and Kevin Ferguson added 14 as Army beat USC 85-77 in overtime Saturday.

Wilson, the nation's ninth-leading scorer from nearby Mission Viejo, scored 26 points after intermission as the Black Knights (7-2) got their first win against a Pac-12 team since 1964.

Wilson and Larry Toomey opened overtime with 3-pointers to complete a 19-5 run and Army never trailed in the extra session. Toomey had 12 points and Luke Morrison 11.

Jordan McLaughlin led the Trojans (6-4) with a career-high 24 points and Katin Reinhardt had 17 points as USC had a four-game winning streak snapped, their longest streak since they won eight in a row in the 2009-10 season.

The Trojans led by 11 points early in the second half and by nine points with five minutes remaining before Wilson scored back-to-back baskets. Ferguson followed with a layup to make it 63-60.
