Long Beach Family Asks For Public's Help Finding Missing 20-Year-Old Woman

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — The public is being asked to keep an eye out for 20-year-old Ashlee Armond, who hasn't been seen since Friday night.

She was last spotted in Long Beach, when she left her best friend's house in the area of 7th Street and Margo Avenue to go to her boyfriend's place, located near Palo Verde Avenue and Del Amo Boulevard. He said she never arrived.

Armond also didn't go to work Sunday, which relatives describe as unusual. They say she's usually very dependable and stays in contact with family and friends.

Police call the circumstances surrounding her disappearance suspicious.

She was described as Hispanic and five feet two inches tall. She weighs 110 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants.

She drives a green 2001 Honda Civic with CA license plate 4YDU298.

Anyone with information about Armond's whereabouts was urged to contact police.
