Deputies Seek Hesperia Man For Questioning In Rash Of Vehicle Burglaries

HESPERIA (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Friday in locating a 32-year-old man suspected in a rash of vehicle burglaries last month.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, deputies from the Hesperia Station responded to over a dozen calls of vehicle burglaries between Nov. 4 and Nov. 7.

Deputies explained one vehicle, which was reported stolen, was located without wheels.

The missing wheels were discovered on one of the suspect's vehicles, authorities explained.

Inside the suspect's vehicle, additional stolen property was recovered that was related to about 10 of the reported burglaries.

According to deputies, some of the stolen property located during the investigation was related to a vehicle burglary in Victorville.

All of the items were identified and returned to victims, officials said.

Detectives said they were able to identify three suspects believed to be responsible for the burglaries.

Michael Gomez, 30, of Hesperia, was taken into custody on Nov. 20, and is being held on suspicion of vehicle burglary and possession of stolen property, deputies explained.

Alex Robert Creason, 22, of Hesperia, was arrested on Dec. 12, and is being held on suspicion of vehicle burglary, possession of stolen property and committing a crime while out on bail.

According to deputies, Jonathan Mark Clark, of Hesperia and Apple Valley, is wanted for questioning. He is believed to be out of the area at this time.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Clark is urged to contact detectives at (760) 947-1500.
