RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — The Riverside City Council reportedly is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a hit-and-run driver who killed a bicyclist last summer.

D'Andre Sutherland, 27, was riding his bicycle near the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Beechwood Place around 2 a.m. on Aug. 10, when he was struck by a vehicle, according to Riverside police.

The Riverside resident and father of two was taken to Riverside Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect vehicle was last seen traveling north on Magnolia Avenue, from Beechwood Place. It likely sustained significant damage to the front end and windshield.

Police asked that anyone with information call Riverside Police Detective F. Soria at (951)826-8720.
