Suspect, Passenger Foot Bail In Downtown Los Angeles During Chase

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  —  A suspect fleeing from Los Angeles Police foot bailed just before 5 p.m. Friday.

The brief chase started in South LA and ended in Exposition Park.

LAPD said the man was driving erratically and weaving in and out of traffic.

The suspect hit the back of a van after leaving the freeway.

The driver and his passenger both got out of the vehicle and foot bailed.

Stu Mundel, reporting in Sky2, said the suspect crashed into several cars during the pursuit.

The suspect was originally wanted for driving recklessly, Mundel reported.

Both the driver and his passenger were apprehended quickly, authorities said.

There were no reports of injuries.
