Man, 74, Reported Missing In Cathedral City Found Safe

CATHEDRAL CITY (CBSLA.com) — A 74-year-old man who was reported missing two days ago in Cathedral City has been found safe.

Allen Scott Dean, who suffers from dementia, returned home on his own around 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Cathedral City police reportedly told KESQ.com.

Dean had been missing since leaving home around 8 p.m. Thursday.

He returned home a little sunburned, but otherwise in good condition.

Dean was unable to provide any information about his whereabouts and was taken to a hospital to be checked out, the site said.
