Dodgers Acquire Mike Bolsinger From Diamondbacks

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - The Los Angeles Dodgers continue to make deals under new General Manager Farhan Zaidi.

The team announced Saturday that they've acquired right-handed pitcher Mike Bolsinger from the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for cash considerations.

Bolsinger will be added to the 40-man roster.

Bolsinger, at 26, started in 9 games for Arizona, who ended with a record of 1-6.

The Texas native who played college ball at the University of Arkansas was drafted in the 15th round of the 2010 First-Year Player draft.

On Friday, reliever Joel Peralta was acquired by the Dodgers from the Tampa Bay Rays as part of a four-player trade.
