3 Chino Hills Teens Arrested For Causing $8,000 In Damage To Homes, Vehicles

CHINO HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Three teenagers were arrested Friday for allegedly causing thousands of dollars in damage to homes and vehicles in Chino Hills.

According to the Chino Hills Police Department, Damon Sullivan, 18, Elijah Taylor, 18, and Chazz Eldridge, 18, were arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism charges.

During 10 separate instances, the teenagers allegedly threw large rocks through the windows of homes and vehicles, which caused an estimated $8,000 in damage.

Officers explained they were sent around 12:58 p.m. to the 5000 block of Copper Road for report of another vandalism.

Once on scene, an area check was conducted to search for the suspects and their vehicle.

According to police, a deputy saw a red vehicle that matched the suspect's vehicle description from a previous investigation.

During a traffic stop, evidence was located in the vehicle that linked Sullivan, Taylor and Eldridge to the vandalism cases.

The three teenagers were arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center.
