Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Nov. 17)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — It was a windy overnight and morning, but the winds are pulling back slightly.

The off-shore flow remains in effect through Tuesday, which will keep things dry and warmer. The winds will pick up again early Tuesday, but the worst of this event was Monday morning with the cold air and the upper level support.

Tuesday will be warmer because of the a combination of high pressure and the off-shore flow. The Red Flag Warning remains in effect with the dry conditions and gusty winds.

By Wednesday, a trough moves through; however, for the most part it will be dry, then another wave of energy passes on Friday and it to will be mostly dry.

Then look for warming over the weekend again. The high desert will be particularly cold in the morning hours this week. With mostly clear skies and dry conditions, as long as the area has a lack of wind look for overnight lows in the 20s and low 30s.
