Free Dental Services Offered At 5 Southern California Locations This Week

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Not a fan of the dentist? One Southern California dental group is trying to take some of the pain away with free services this week.

California Dental Group is offering free dental services at five locations Wednesday and Friday on a first come, first serve basis.

The group, which has a total of seven locations, says it sees hundreds of patients a month. But the cost is an obstacle to so many more patients, owner Dr. Kamran Sahabi said.

"We see an amazing number of people who need treatment and can't afford it. We come across this every day," Sahabi said in a statement. "So I decided that we needed to address this serious health issue."

The group already provides free emergency dental care to the community at least one day a month, according to the company.

Free dental services will be offered the following days at the following California Dental Group locations:
